暑假关于夏天的英语作文

in the summer,the days are longer and the nights are shouter.its very hot.people like to go swimming.i like swimming very much.so i often go to the swimming poll in the summer .and i can swim very well.

in the summer the trees and leaves are green.flowers are open too.people don like to go outside.they want to stay at home.because in the room.its very cool.

in the summer.people like to eat ice-cream.so there are many kinds of ice-cream.

this years summer vacation was most enjoyable. i spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside,where i saw mountains and fields covered with green plants. sometimes i went swimming in the river to the west of the village, the water in which was quite clear.

今年我过了一个最愉快的暑假.有15天时间,我帮爷爷在乡下干农活,在那里有着满山遍野的绿树、庄嫁.有时,我也去村子西边的小河里游泳,那里的河水清澈见底.

i kept a diary every day. besides doing farm work, i help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. all of them showed much interest in english. they could read and write well, but they could hardly understand simple english. so every day in the morning i spent about two hours helping them improve their listening and spoken english. they all made great progress. their parents all thought highly of me. i now realize that knowledge is very much needed in the countryside.

每天,我都坚持写日记.除了干农活外,我还辅导邻居家的小孩功课.孩子们对英语很感兴趣,他们的读写能力都不错,但连简单的英语都基本不懂.因此,每天早上我会抽出两个小时来帮助孩子们提高听力和口语,而且他们都取得很大的进步,孩子们的父母也对我赞赏有加.至此,我深深认识到,在农村知识是如此急缺.
