나는 책 읽기를 좋아하는 편이다. 그래서 시간이 있을 때마다 항상 책을 읽곤 한다. 사람에 따라 선호하는 책이 다르겠지만 내가 좋아하는 책은 한국의 전래 동화이다. 한국에 와서 읽었던 전래 동화 중에서 가장 인상 깊었던 이야기를 하나 소개하라면‘해님과 달님’을 꼽고 싶다. 산 속의 호랑이가 밤늦게 집으로 돌아가던 떡장수 아주머니를 잡아먹고 나서 그 남매 아이들까지도 잡아먹으려고 욕심을 내다가 결국 죽게 된다. 한편 고아가 된 데다가 호랑이에게 쫓기던 남매는 하늘의 도움으로 오빠는 해가 되고 여동생은 달이 된다. 어떤 사람은 이런 유치한 이야기가 뭐가 좋으냐고 반문할 수도 있을 것이다. 하지만 내가 보기에 이 이야기는 물론이고 한국의 전래 동화 안에는 자연과 어울려 살아가는 한국인의 정신문화가 담겨 있다. 그리고 무엇보다도 이러한 문화를 지루하지 않고 재미있게 배울 수 있다는 것이 전래 동화의 가장 큰 장점이다.

我挺喜欢读书的。所以一有时间就读书。人们喜欢的书各有千秋，我喜欢读的书是韩国传统童话。来韩国后读过的印象最深的一个故事要数“太阳和月亮”了。讲述的是一只老虎想把买糕到深夜才回家的大婶抓来吃掉，连她的一对儿女也不放过，最后丧了命的故事。变成孤儿后遭到老虎追赶的兄妹得到上天的帮助，哥哥变成了太阳，妹妹变成了月亮。有的人可能要问我为什么会喜欢这么幼稚的故事?但在我看来，这个故事毫无疑问地体现了韩国传统童话中与自然和谐共处的韩国国人精神。通过传统童话来学习文化一点也不会枯燥，这正是传统童话的巨大优点。
