recently, a famous case was closed. the case was about a screenwriter plagiarizing another writer’s novel. the public kept their eyes on this case, most people believed that the screenwriter indeed plagiarized someone’s work, because the story he wrote had some much similarity with another writer’s play. the screenwriter denied that he had copied other writer’s work. what he said made the writer very angry, the writer charged the screenwriter. now the result came out, the writer won the case and the screenwriter had to apologize. plagiarizing someone’s work is a serious crime, it is not respectful to others and steal people’s work. such behavior should be condemned strongly.

the seats in our school reading-room are not enough for all the students. many people get there very early to seize a seat every day. so do i. one day a special thing happened to me. and i learned a lesson that i shall never forget.

it happened on a wednesday morning last january, just before our final e_amation. i got to the reading-room very early to occupy a seat. i put a book on the desk and then went to have breakfast. but when i hurried back into the reading-room, i found someone was sitting on the seat which i had occupied in advance. i ran to him immediatly and shouted at him angrily, go away. its my seat. everyone raised their eyes and stared at me unfriendly. my face turned red and i felt ashamed of myself. i took my book and fled helter-skelter before so many eyes.

i dared not go to the reading-room for several days. i learned a lesson in the reading-room. since then i have been keeping the lesson in mind: to be polite to everyone.

they kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. the one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. after he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: oday my best friend saved my life.

the friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, after i hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now you write on a stone. why?

spring is the best season of a year. the weather gets warmer and waemer. my classmates and i took a one-day sightseeing tour around our city. the scene was very beautiful. but when we saw the rivers along our city, i felt very sorry and thought a lot. with the development of; modern industry and agriculture, more and more waste is being poured into rivers. it has caused serious pollution.
